"The Future of Work/The Work of the Future" was a project by HenkelHiedlwith for Hans-Böckler-Stiftung and LABOR.A. It examines future challenges in the workplace, whether technological, social or environmental. 10 illustrators were asked to respond artistically to a work-related issue of their choice, the resulting works were exhibited as a series of art prints at a panel discussion at GE59 artworkspace as well as the 2024 LABOR.A conference at Cafe Moskau. "The Autonomated Worker" is about the blurring of boundaries between work and leisure time, about always having to be available and about self-exploitation in capitalist societies.
